"J. Hoard, an exuberantly gifted young vocalist and songwriter who treats affirmation as an art form, has lately been leaving bread crumbs all over the New York City scene, collaborating with artists in jazz, rock, soul, and electronic music." New York Times, Giovanni Russonello.
With gospel roots that inspired his love of all genres, J. Hoard's writing credits include Chance the Rapper's multiple Grammy-winning "Coloring Book," Black Coffee's Grammy-winning album, "Subconsciously." His collaborators read like a study in modern Black music: Playboi Carti, Endea Owens, Meshell Ndegeocello, Javier Santiago, José James, Brasstracks, Lil Wayne... and the list goes on.
